Foundations for our Future

We are so grateful for the generosity that allowed us to complete Foundation For Our Future (FFOF) projects. Below is a list of completed projects over the years.

2023 BUILDING ROOF REPLACEMENT
After much prayer and careful consideration, our FFOF campaign for 2023 was joined with the broader “United in Faith, Moving Forward in Hope” parish capital campaign to replace the school and parish roof. All donations from the FFOF campaign in 2023 were directed towards replacing our current roof which leaks in many places throughout the building, has caused damage to infrastructure, and has been outdated for quite some time. Over the past year parishioners, school families, and friends of the parish have generously and sacrificially given to this vital parish school project. In progress.

2022 INCREASED SECURITY AROUND THE CAMPUS
The focus of the 2022 FFOF campaign is to increase the security of St. Jerome School and the rest of the St. Jerome campus. The project included additional cameras, new and improved locks on doors, and the installation of a “Key FOB” system on an entrance highly used by the parish and school. The camera system allows school and parish staff to safely view, via new and current cameras, all necessary views of the outside perimeter of the building and the school hallway. It also provided the school and parish with recorded video evidence in case of an incident. Completed Summer of 2022.

2021 NO SCHEDULED PROJECT
Fr. Garrett was transferred to another parish in 2021 and Fr. Grant joined us here. Because of this transfer, a Foundation for Our Future project was not scheduled.

2020 NEW LAPTOP COMPUTERS FOR TEACHERS & STUDENTS
Spring of 2020 was a challenging time and we discovered quickly that our teachers did not have computers that were reliable for virtual learning. Additionally, we needed more student computers to facilitate that learning. Thanks to FFOF, we were able to purchase updated computers and provide enough to allow all students to use one if home learning was needed. Completed Fall of 2020.

2019 UPDATE HVAC UNIT IN CHURCH
The heating/cooling unit for the worship space was not working properly anymore. We were able to replace it with funds raised from FFOF. Completed October 2019.

2018 BATHROOM RENOVATION
The bathrooms were completely renovated (including tearing out the foundation, plumbing, and electrical.) They were rebuilt to ensure they are handicap accessible to address the needs of the school, as well as those visiting for parish events, funerals, weddings, religious education, etc. This renovation meets all ADA and commercial building codes. Completed September 2018.
