Financial Assistance is available and can be applied for using the FACTS Financial Aid form.

ST. JEROME SCHOLARSHIPS

Educational Scholarships are provided to those families who believe strongly in a Catholic education, but for whom the financial obligation is beyond their means. St. Jerome's School Scholarship program doesn’t require repayment from the family.

Who can apply for financial assistance or a scholarship?
Each family is responsible for financing their child’s education to the extent of their financial means; however, we encourage any family who finds difficulty in meeting this financial obligation to apply. Part of the mission of our school is to provide an education for all children regardless of the ability to pay. With regard to our scholarships, limited school resources are available and we ask that families exhaust all personal financial support prior to applying.

Where do I get an application for financial assistance or a scholarship?
Applications for financial assistance must be submitted online at FACTS Tuition Aid. All questions related to the application should be directed to FACTS. St. Jerome School staff may not give assistance in filling out the form or questions about the form itself.

Is there a cost to apply?
Yes, there is a $35 fee to apply.

Who will see my personal financial statement?
Only the FACTS personnel, our Principal, and our Priest will see the information. All personal financial information is kept confidential.

How are the Scholarships determined?
St. Jerome's School subscribes to the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment service. FACTS estimates a family’s need based on income, assets, expenses, and liabilities. The administrative team will use this estimation as a guideline to award scholarships.

How much Scholarship funding is available?
Each year the available resources for scholarships are based on the projected budget. The school is making it a priority to try to find additional resources to help with scholarships.

Is there a deadline to be considered for a Scholarship?
Yes. ALL deadlines must be met to qualify and are listed on the application form.

Once I am approved for a Scholarship, do I need to apply every year?
Yes. A new application is required for each school year. We have an annual review procedure.

Are there payment options?
Families may choose to spread out their tuition payments with a FACTS Tuition Agreement. For a  fee, this program allows families to make monthly or bi-monthly payments. FACTS payment schedules are available online.

Are there any restrictions on financial assistance for students?
No. We treat all of our students the same regardless of financial support. There are no restrictions on field trips, sports, or academic programs.
